About me
With a background in design and experience across different contexts, my journey began in Istanbul and gradually brought me to Cologne. During my bachelor studies, including an exchange experience, I explored intercultural perspectives and learned how cultural contexts shape ways of thinking and collaborating. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Integrated Design Research at TH Köln, Köln International School of Design. My focus has shifted towards research driven and systems oriented design. I am excited to continue evolving my practice and exploring what comes next!
My practices
Design Foundations:
Product Design and Prototyping
My background in product design shaped how I think through making. Visual prototyping, form, materials, and iteration remain core tools for exploring ideas and communicating them clearly.
Studio & Strategy:
Design Practice in Context
Working in a design studio environment introduced me to translating creative ideas into strategic and marketing solutions, connecting design thinking with business goals and real-world constraints.
Industry & Systems:
Production and Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
Experience within industrial and production contexts taught me how design operates within complex systems. Collaborating across disciplines expanded my systems awareness and collaborative approach.
Design Research:
Practice and Strategy
Through my Master’s studies in Integrated Design Research at KISD, my focus shifted towards qualitative research, sense-making, and reflective practice to inform design decisions.
Experience Marketing:
B2B Experiences and Journeys
Working in B2B experience marketing deepened my understanding of stakeholders, brand touchpoints, and experience design across different scales.
Culture & Perspective:
Learning Across Cultures
My journey from Istanbul, through Schwäbisch Gmünd, to Cologne shaped an intercultural perspective that continues to influence how I collaborate, communicate, and work with others.
